Founded in 1964 by Egon Binkert, recent German immigrant to Baltimore, Binkert`s quickly gained a reputation in Baltimore`s large German community for authentic, high-quality, handmade German sausages and lunch meats.

Today the family still leads a small team of artisans producing Binkert`s sausages and lunch meats by hand using original German recipes and the finest in local ingredients.

Loyal customers in the Baltimore area continue to line up at Binkert`s retail store, while others throughout the Mid-Atlantic enjoy Binkert`s products featured at Washington, DC embassy events, restaurants and regional Oktoberfest celebrations.
